Magical Migration

Life is looking up, lockdown has lifted and our incredible wilderness areas are ripe for exploration. The migration, Wildebeest, Eland, Zebra, and more have realized it too, and with borders open, have been thundering across from Tanzania into the Mara in their thousands.

We welcomed our first international guests of the season, who arrived on 3rd August, following the new Covid protocol in airports travelling through to Kenya from the US.  Much like the river crossings, the brave ones take the first plunge, swimming against the tide, with great rewards the other side.  This family have joined us over the last 2 weeks, seeing Kenya in unprecedented times, with few tourists and amazing wildlife. They celebrated World Lion Day, and World Elephant Day with us in the Masai Mara, marveling at these glorious animals.  We are thrilled that they conquered the challenges of travel and were with us to witness so much of this incredible wildlife spectacle - as #natureneverstops!

As we look to the future, there is a new era of travel emerging, and we have tried to move with it. Keeping to new pandemic protocol we embrace the change, a fundamental part of which seeks more responsible travel throughout.

While the world of travel re-awakens it’s no surprise that with the expanse of African outdoors there is reduced transmission rates. Our mobile safaris, or photographic safaris embrace this. They also encircle responsible travel parameters. Keeping low impact on areas we visit, respecting the wildlife and culture, entwined with a daily environmental consciousness and the inherent appreciation for our planet and its fragility. Our amazing team are all waiting to welcome you back.

The return of travel means so much to wildlife protection and our local communities.
